By accomplishing smaller goals over time, it is more likely the resolution will be achieved.
Not Having a Plan
With any resolution, you need to have an explicit plan for attaining it. If you decide to lose weight, you need to have a well-defined plan of action. Remember to start with small goals such as cutting out junk food or steering clear of as much processed food as possible. Also, remember diets rarely work in the long run.
